    In this course we will look at the lives of ten women who caused “a scandal to their sex” in their lifetimes. We will consider how their lives resonate with our lives today and whether we would still consider their behaviour scandalous. Please note this is a revival and renewal of a previous course. The women we will be studying are: Marie Antoinette, James Barry, Agatha Christie, Artemisia Gentileschi, Frida Kahlo, Mary Kingsley, The Ladies of Llangollen, Winnie Mandela, Caroline Norton, Sophie Scholl.
