We visit many of the college gardens and are usually shown round by the head gardeners who know the most about the gardens. We are on our feet throughout each visit. We have 6 visits in each of the autumn and spring terms, taking a break over the winter months. We resume on the first Monday in March and visits continue every Monday (except Bank Holidays) until the middle of July to enable us to see as many gardens at their best. Some gardens charge a small fee and you will be advised of this in the programme. As this course has been heavily oversubscribed in previous years you are asked to provide an alternative first choice in the second column of the application form. The office has stipulated that applications will not be accepted unless this is done. In fairness to other people those who have previously had a place on this course should not reapply. As all communications are by email it is imperative that course members have an email address which they access regularly.
