    We meet on Tuesdays in the Buckingham Room, Magdalene College, where Kipling was an Honorary Fellow. We read aloud from his works 10.30 to 11.30 (coffee and tea 10am). In the Michaelmas term we look at early short stories, Plain Tales from the Hills and Many Inventions . In the Lent term we read his autobiography Something of Myself and dip into some longer poems. I prose The Mary Glister where we have access to his original draft, The Viking's Funeral . Copies of these books will be on the table but bring your own if possible.
