'Blues Two' continues from last years 'The Blues'. We continue to trace the evolution of the Blues from Swing, Boogie-Woogie, Rhythm and Blues and Jump Blues into Rock and Roll, Soul, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Punk Rock and Alternative Rock. No formal music education is needed. We play authentic recordings in chronological order to illustrate how the environment and succeeding artists influence the evolution of the Blues. A brief oral presentation and a handout with playlists and biographies is given each week.
