This 5 week course will focus on the journey from an idea for finding a cure for an illness to the production of a prescription drug. In addition there will be details about specific medications including some traditional cures, asthma and hypertension drugs and antibiotics. Part of one session will involve class use of molecular models. No previous scientific knowledge assumed. Notes provided by email.
