  • Day and time: Tuesday 9:30 - 11:00
    Weekly
  • Length of course: 1 term. Spring (10 Weeks)
  • Number of places: 22
  • Start date: 10 January 2017
  • Description:

We all want healthy lives and there’s plenty of advice out there to help you accomplish that, but how do we achieve this ideal goal? Ideally we should eat better, exercise more and have sufficient knowledge to be able to understand whether our doctor or other “health professional” (conventional or not) has both an appropriate understanding and an ability to help on any developing health issue. This course has evolved over the years to try and understand the contribution of diet, lifestyle and exercise to our 3rd age health. With a better understanding of our genes, physiology and bio-active molecules in food/drink, can we increase our chances of avoiding cancer, heart disease, diabetes and other diseases now so common in the western world simply by a shift in lifestyle?
