This class is suitable for a variety of levels of ability, but you need a reasonable working level of German. We read a sentence each (with help with pronunciation if necessary) and translate into English. It is a fun way to brush up rusty language, get to grips with varying sentence structures and expand vocabulary. We will continue reading Eifel-Gold by Jacques Berndorf, and will be about half-way through the book, middle of chap 5. I will provide a synopsis of what we have read so far, and newcomers are welcome. The book is a light-hearted Krimi with an interesting plot - when you are reading it, follow the money.
Note: We will continue to wear masks in my classes, and keep windows open, to protect vulnerable people from Covid.
