We will read and discuss The Spirit Level by Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett. In it the authors show how high levels of economic inequality have very significant social costs and why more equality is better for everyone. Note: The class will NOT meet on January 24, 31 and February 7. These classes will be made up on March 21, 28 and April 4.
