Four fortnightly sessions focused on our language and literature for those love lexical quizzes (and will have noticed the alliteration). Test your knowledge of figures of speech, quotations, and characters and situations devised by favourite authors; and sharpen your awareness of our endlessly fascinating and constantly developing language.
Please note that this is not a course for those who want to improve their use of English. It is a repeat of the one held in summer 2017, and you should not apply if you came to that. There will be a series of new quizzes with a different title on offer during the summer school.
Runs for 4 weeks starting 24 April.
