Speaker: Professor Alastair Driver, Director of ‘Rewilding Britain’, Fellow of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management, Honorary Professor of Applied Environmental Management, Exeter University.

Synopsis: Prof Driver has been heavily involved in the exciting and challenging world of rewilding since it hit the headlines nearly 10 years ago and is the Director of the charity Rewilding Britain. In this presentation he busts a few myths about rewilding and illustrates, using images and evidence from the pioneering projects he has been involved with, how working with nature rather than against it, can significantly benefit not only the environment but also the economy and society as a whole.
